• Denstone Music Society

    We are delighted to announce the 58th season of the Denstone Music Society (formerly Abbotsholme Arts Society) and look forward to extending our traditional warm welcome to our patrons, members and guests.

    Our 2026-2027 season opens on Monday, 12 October with the Lumas Winds, an exciting young, multi-award winning quintet. It continues in November with the world renowned pianist, Danny Driver.

    Tickets will become available on 1st August. Membership will give you admission to all the concerts in the season at a preferential rate. You can become a member at any time. A membership subscription helps the Society to continue to support musicians and entitles you to a say in the running of the Society.

    Our young audience members enjoy a 50% discount on all tickets and membership subscription.

    Please note we are a cashless society. Payments will be taken by card and smartphone only.

One of Britain’s most respected pianists, Danny is recognised internationally for his sophistication, insight and musical depth, with a holistic approach inspired by studies at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music. His breadth of repertoire and musical curiosity are relected in concert programmes and recordings exploring mainstream and neglected music from the baroque period through to the present day.
